Our little ones hold such a special place in our hearts at CNYAOD, and we've developed a robust program based in American Ballet Theatre's world-renowned National Training Curriculum to best fit each development stage of the early years of dance study:
Preschool/Primary Programming
Parent & Me
Creative Movement - age 2
Designed for our littlest dancers and their adult, this class focuses on expressive movement and musical exposure alongside fostering social interaction and an introduction to a classroom setting.

Preschool Pre-Ballet -
age 3
A continued focus in developing creative expression, social skills and musicality alongside the building blocks of ballet positions/steps and a classroom structure.
*Weekly classes Saturdays 10:30 - 11:00 am

Preschool Dance Foundations - age 4
Our signature preschool program including the fundamentals of ballet and tap instruction, with a continued focus on the development of creative expression, social skills and a classroom structure.

Primary Dance Education - Kindergarten & 1st Grade, ages 5-7
Our Primary level offers introductory level weekly classes in the 3 core areas: ballet, tap, and jazz/hip-hop. At this level dancers solidify their foundational knowledge of movement coordination, vocabulary and musicality while still being encouraged to explore their creativity each week in new ways!
