4-Week Summer Class Session
Tuesday, July 11th - Thursday, August 3rd
Join us this summer for our 2023 class session! Classes begin Tuesday, July 11th and run Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings through August 3rd. Classes are available in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, modern/contemporary, hip-hop and musical theatre, as well as specialized preschool programs for our little ones! Intensive Programs
Advanced and Intermediate Technique Intensives
*Advanced ages 14 and up - August 14th - 17th, 9:30 - 12:30 daily
*Intermediate ages 12-14, August 14th - 17th 12:30 - 4:30 daily
Our annual pre-season open technique intensive will be held this year from August 14th - 17th and includes four full days of instruction in American Ballet Theatre classical ballet technique, pointe, variations, partnering, stretch and conditioning, modern technique, jazz technique, contemporary dance, dance history, ballet theory, nutrition and more! Dancers will focus in on sharpening technique and enhancing their artistic range before the fall season begins, with our intensive open to ALL local dancers.
More information will be released soon on exact daily schedules, participating guest faculty, and further specifics. Registration opens Sunday, March 12th with VERY limited space available - we welcome just 12 dancers in each age group to ensure focused individualized attention and growth! Summer tuition will open for payment on June 1st and remaining open until one week prior to our event.

Pre-Intensive Ballet Camp
Our CNYAOD Pre-Intensive Ballet Camp is a 3-day program designed to introduce younger students to the world of classical ballet technique, performance and artistic development. This immersive experience provides the perfect balance of intensive ballet training with fun activities and opportunities to learn something brand new about the world of theatre (choreography and costume design, anyone?).
Open to ages 8-11 (entering 4th - 6th grade in fall 2023), classes will include American Ballet Theatre ballet technique, stretch and beginner dance conditioning, pre-pointe, dance history, ballet theory, dancer wellness, intro to classical variations and themed workshops daily like choreography basics, costume design, and more! We'll also include fun games and crafts to keep students engaged day to day, and morning snack is included!
We're limiting this program to just 12 participants to ensure focused individualized attention and deep learning. We can't wait to explore all things classical ballet with our budding ballerinas!
Dance & Arts Camps
Ages 4-6: June 27 - 29
Ages 7-10: August 7 - 11
Join us for our signature summer program: our annual Dance & Arts Camps!
Our 5-day camp is open to children ages 7-10 years old, and includes daily activities in dance, music, singing, crafts, and storytelling with games and snacks also a part of each day's schedule. Join us from Monday, August 7th - Friday, August 11th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. each morning for 5 days of fun themes - Broadway Lights, Night at the Ballet, Musical Madness, Dancin' through the Decades, and Arts Around the World. We'll take inspiration from classical ballets, musical theatre productions, visual artists and cultural arts from all over the globe!
Our 3-day camp is open to preschoolers and kindergarteners ages 4-6 years old, and includes daily activities in dance, music, singing, crafts, and storytelling with games and snacks also a part of each day's schedule. Join us from Tuesday, June 27th - Thursday, June 29th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. each morning for three days of fun themes - Under The Sea, Enchanted Forest, and Princess Academy!

Books & Ballet Preschool Summer Series

Introducing our brand new program for the 2023 summer season: Books & Ballet! Think... reading group meets ballet class, meets arts camp experience!
This weekly Friday camp from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm will feature a story time reading session with childhood favorite books and fairytale classics accompanied by a ballet class, group activities, games and crafts all inspired by that week's book. Children can sign up for just one Friday or all four - our full four week package does include a tutu and a book to take home!
